Teaching
I have taught traditional courses since 1985. I taught via closed-circuit television from 1988 to 1994. Since then I have taught in a fully virtual online environment. I taught my first virtual course in the fall of 1990, using RBBS bulletin board. My first web-based course was the Renaissance, taught in Spring 1994.
Computer Background
Since 1984 I have worked in the Office of Information Technology at Boise State University. I am currently the Web Adminstrator for the university. I am also adjunct faculty with the Department of History.
Personal
Married since 1969 to Debra. Three children: Timothy, Samuel and Rachel. We have lived in Boise, Idaho since 1984.Last revised 2004
